That
One Funny Awakening
In the beach, I
was walking through the white sand while watching the sky that summertime.
Suddenly, a volley ball hit my face! As I moved backwards, I stepped into a dog
poop. Oh! Damn the players. They ruined my moment and my sexy poise. The
nastiest of all, I got a bruised eye and my sandals filled with smelly poopie.
With my shame, I went straight forward the hotel
and locked myself inside my room. One of the players begs for forgiveness. It
was an accident he insisted.
Well I don’t care! I don’t want to get out! I
saw my face in the mirror and hell I looked like Po from the movie Kung Fu
Panda.
Aarg! I hate it. I decided to leave at exactly
three in the morning when I saw a very white guy coming towards me. He asked
for forgiveness to what his brother did last time. I hated myself for lying
that it was okay. Then, he asked where will I go and I said that I’ll just take
a little walk in the beach. My gosh, I was too dishonest. He accompanied me in
the beach. Nobody was there except the two of us. I was too silent. All he did
was to stare at me for some times then he’ll end up looking at the sea again.
He introduced himself as Dan. He is a fresh
graduate medical doctor. He’s single. Gentle. Cool. He wears black polo and slacks. His hair was
as smooth as the wind. Well, I wasn’t flirting. I like him but not that
obsessive. If only I’m beautiful and bears an awesome profession too, I’ll
marry this guy. He’s perfect.
After a little walk, we went to his clinic and
he checked my eye. Suddenly, his brother entered. With his surprise, he just
said “Hi” then he walked out again like he saw a ghost. Yeah right, he thinks
I’m a ghost because of my face.
How could he?! He didn’t even apologize. Dan
felt sorry for his brother’s misbehavior. He let me forget my unforgettable
experience by taking me in a hidden cave. A place that Ron and his brother only
know. He drove the boat while I was watching the scenery. The water was so calm
and you’ll see the vivid harmony of lights created by the fireflies. The bats
were silent as a hill. The cave was filled with artistic carvings and some sort
of unexplainable drawings. It was nice. Dan taught me how to sip juice from
certain flowers like a butterfly. He taught me how to catch crabs, fishes and a
starfish. He even shared a love story about a siren and an ordinary man who was
believed to live in the cave.
I don’t know the reason why he’s laughing as I
mentioned to him if he wants to swim. Is it because he doesn’t know? Haha.
Whatever it is, he’s still cute to me.
By and by, we settled back in the boat and he
led me near the shore. I really spend a good time with him.
Before I moved out, we both witnessed the
sunrise first. Then there we separated ways. Forgot to mention, I blushed as he
touched my hand. Does he like me too? Oh, I shouldn’t assume.
Kiss? We
did not.
I went back to the hotel and decided to extend
another day with him. I rested for a while then I’ve just woke up when I heard someone
knocking at my door.
I thought it was him but it was his brother. I
thought he was boastful for not apologizing. He said he was just stunned that
he saw me inside the clinic. He asked me how I get in. I told him that I was
with his older brother.
He said Dan was already dead after drowning
himself near the cave five years ago. The reason why he refused to swim.
Goosebumps.
I can’t accept the fact that he’s really gone.
And worst of all, I can’t admit that it was all only a dream. I thought it was
true! Geez, my saliva.
Holly molly! I realized that we were still
taking up our long test in Integral Calculus and I only got four minutes left
to finish them all.
Oh! I blame that movie I watched last night!
